Its just me booking these fabulous vacations and destination weddings with the occasional help from my Dominican born and raised husband. When he's not running his own business or building something for me from my Pinterest folder, he will help with translation services, groups and confirming guest arrivals and satisfaction in the spanish speaking destinations we promote. I also have a fantastic team of suppliers, that really seem more like a family to me. I have to give a shout out to my team at GoGo Vacations. Its a pleasure to work with such a fantastic crew.

Over the years I worked for a few brick and mortar travel agencies before starting my own company. I learned many valuable lessons from each company I worked for. To be a knowledgable agent you have to be visiting and staying up to date on the destinations you are selling. This was what inspired me to work on my own allowing me the freedom and time to see all the destinations I was suggesting to my clients. Most brick and mortar travel agencies don't want their employees out of the office for more than 1 or 2 weeks total in the year. How could I possibly sell destinations I wasn't visiting personally?
I decided it would be best to have the ability to travel again as much as I could. Gathering as much information and experience on my own, in order to be an honest and valuable source to my clients. And what better place to do this than in the Caribbean.
Island Travel Company was born from this idea.
